LOST HORIZON

(Adventure | Drama | Fantasy | Musical | Romance)
[2 hours 30 minutes]

While escaping war-torn China, a group of Europeans crash
in the Himalayas, where they are rescued and taken to the
mysterious Valley of the Blue Moon, Shangri-La. Hidden
from the rest of the world, Shangri-La is a haven of peace
and tranquility for world-weary diplomat Richard Conway.
His ambitious brother, George, sees it as a prison from
which he must escape, even if it means risking his life
and bringing destruction to the ancient culture of
Shangri-La.

GODSPELL

(Musical)
[1 hour 43 minutes]

A modern-day version of the gospels, opening with
John the Baptist calling a disparate group of young
New Yorkers from their workaday lives to follow and
learn from Jesus. They form a roving acting troupe
that enacts the parables through song and dance, comedy,
and mime. Jesus' ministry ends with a last supper, his
Crucifixion in a junkyard, and, the following morning,
his body being carried aloft by his apostles back into
the world of the living on the streets of New York.

Jesus Christ Superstar
JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR

(Drama | History | Musical)
[1 hour 46 minutes]

Based on a concept album project written by Andrew Lloyd Webber
and Tim Rice, and the subsequent long-running Broadway performance,
this film tells the story of the final 6 days in the life of
Jesus Christ through the troubled eyes of Judas Iscariot. Too often
mis-labeled a musical, this film is a "rock opera." There are no
spoken lines, everything is sung.

The Exorcist
THE EXORCIST

(Horror)
[2 hours 2 minutes]

A visiting actress in Washington, D.C., notices dramatic and
dangerous changes in the behavior and physical make-up of
her 12-year-old daughter. Meanwhile, a young priest at nearby
Georgetown University begins to doubt his faith while dealing
with his mother's terminal sickness. And, book-ending the
story, a frail, elderly priest recognizes the necessity
for a show-down with an old demonic enemy.
